About Alva

Alva is a Dance Pedagogue, Dancer and Massage Therapist. She is interested in questions of accessibility and learning within dance as well as dance education. 

In her work as a Dance Pedagogue, she draws on collaborative learning and different communicative methods. Her approach to dance and movement involves paying attention to what is present and utilising it as resource and possibility, all while embracing exploration and care. 

As a certified Massage Therapist, she cares about developing bodily sustainability and lets it inspire all of her work. 

Since 2023 she has worked as Dance Pedagogue in improvisation and composition for young adults with different disabilities and women with fibromyalgia. She has held several courses and workshops for children, youth and adults in Stockholm.

Alva holds a Bachelor’s of Arts Degree in Dance Pedagogy specialising in Modern and Contemporary Dance awarded at Stockholm University of the Arts.
