About Arash

With over 15 years of experience in the creative industry, Arash has built a diverse portfolio as a VR/AR-artist & Developer, Graphic and Video Designer in Stockholm and Teheran. 

 

After moving to Sweden in 2018, Arash pursued a new path in virtual reality (VR) development at Nackademin. He has since collaborated in projects and productions at Kulturhuset Stadsteatern, and various companies and artists, including Bombina Bombast, and Choreographer Robin Jonsson, continuing to explore cutting-edge technologies and push the boundaries of virtual reality. 

 

Among his projects, Arash developed a VR app with advanced hand-tracking capabilities, allowing users to interact seamlessly using only their hands. This app creates a highly immersive experience and is currently being further developed.

At Kulturhuset Stadsteatern, Arash worked as a video designer and technician, contributing to two notable productions, Skuggan över stenbänken and Company.

Since 2022, he has also been working part-time as a pedagogue and librarian at Lava, a creative meeting place in Stockholm for young people aged 14 to 25. He guides the participants through workshops and creative video, audio, and screen printing projects His focus is to support them in developing their ideas, whether they want to create music, film, graphics, or sound.

 

As a librarian, he also assists in finding resources that inspire and support their creative development. His passion is helping young people find their own means of expression in a safe and inclusive environment, and enjoys collaborating to bring ideas to life. He constantly strives to stay updated on the latest trends and techniques in design and technology.
