About Magnus
Magnus is a dedicated Music Pedagogue, Music Therapist, and Musician with over 17 years of experience working with children and young people with disabilities at a school in Stockholm. He holds a senior teaching position focused on ICT and digital educational materials.
Magnus has driven the development of innovative music projects that allow his pupils to engage in creative and collaborative performances with professional musicians, artists, songwriters, and dancers. His projects have included collaborations with notable artists and organisations in Sweden.
In various projects funded by the Swedish Arts Council’s programme “Creating Schools” (Skapande Skola), Magnus has been responsible for project ideation, budget management, and leading various initiatives ranging from instrument building to sensory music experiences. His approach integrates various and specially adapted instruments and digital tools such as iPads, sound buttons, Theremini, Makey Makey, interactive projectors and modular synths, but also analogue instruments to facilitate deep musical experiences for children.
Magnus is also an active speaker on topics related to adapted methods for music education and inclusivity. He has shared his insights with the Ministry of Education and at various educational and cultural events, including the "Children's Culture Symposium 2024" at Stockholm University.

Magnus holds a Degree of Bachelor of Education in Music awarded at The University of Gothenburg, and a Degree from the Master's Program in Music Therapy at The Royal College of Music in Stockholm (KMH)
